Working in a small team to provide outstanding customer service as well as processing domestic and international shipments, and operational duties as needed or directed by Management.
• Receiving and processing shipment bookings from customers
• Process and monitor Malca-Express bookings, including bookings, follow-ups, tracking requests, mis scans, account management and investigations on lost in transit parcels
• Ensure adequate office supplies for shipping at all times
• Effectively liaising with our internal Operations and Sales departments
• Liaising with subcontractors and other visitors
• Effectively liaising with FedEx or other MAEX partners
• Managing a high volume of emails and phone calls
• Physically handling and preparing shipments for dispatch
• Handling and distributing letters and cheques
• Identifying and assessing customers’ needs to achieve customer satisfaction
• Identify and pass on sales opportunities for new and existing clients to Sales Team
• Educating new and existing clients on Malca-Amit history, services and rates
• Educate and train new and existing clients on MyMalca and MAEX, both in person and remotely
• Providing customer service in person
• To actively communicate with customers to ensure they are made aware of any delays or issues with shipments
• To cover for team members during absence and encourage team working
• Proactively recommend improvements, which contribute to improved customer service and team effectiveness
